Glacier Chawan - Matcha Bowl

Matcha bowls, or chawan, are practical works of art, used and collected by tea aficionados around the world. Designed for whisking matcha in the traditional style of Japanese tea preparation or for everyday consumption, the wide shape enables proper foaming—desirable in some styles of service.

This striking two-tone version features textures both smooth and rugged, with a thick layer of icy white glaze coating the matte, angular base. Handmade in Japan, the glaze pattern is unique to each piece. Whisk up a bowl and enjoy the tactile sensation, sip by sip.
